Beautiful vista from Sunset Campground, Navajo National Monument in No. Arizona

Dry camping tonight at Sunset Campground on the Navajo National Monument in Northern Arizona.

Sitting at about 7,300 feet it seems as if we have a 50-mile panoramic view to the west. Awe-inspiring sunset.

Saturday we plan to hike down to the Betatakin cliff pueblo that has survived more than 700 years because it was built in an alcove protected from natural elements.
