Bill Archer of the Bluefield Daily Telegraph caught up with documentary filmmaker Chris Valluzzo at the recent Henry Reed Memorial Fiddler’s Convention in Glen Lyn, Virginia.
“As he sat in a lawn chair beneath the awning of his rustic travel trailer, two people approached documentary filmmaker, Chris Valluzzo. The woman introduced herself as Gill, nodded in the direction of her husband, Bill Millar, and engaged in a conversation as though they had known each other for years,” writes Archer.
Valluzzo, of Horse Archer Productions, is one of many Old Time music performers and followers who attend fiddle events in their RVs because most gatherings are held in outdoor fields with few amenities.
