Monday night ( July 13), the Great American Road Trip on NBC (at 8 p.m., 7 p.m. Central), features seven diverse families “aboard RVs (as they) travel through American cities competing in challenges that will lead one family to victory and $100,000,” according to an item on RVTravel.com.
“The challenges are set against iconic American backdrops like the Grand Canyon and the Washington Monument as well as quirky landmarks like the World’s Largest Chair and a sneaker the size of a car.”
Each week, over eight weeks, one family will be eliminated based on their performance in various challenges. “ultimately, only one family will return home with a dream prize,” according to NBC.
