Camping just a short distance from the Colorado River at Buckskin Mountain State Park, about 12 miles north of Parker, AZ. This secluded park sits on a bend in the Colorado River backed by low cliffs.
Overcast since we arrived about dinner time yesterday. We have a great camp site with no other RVs between us and the water. Hiking trail behind campground.
$23/night for electricity/water; add $2/sewer. $30/reserve sites. Christmas Day free. Showers (lukewarm). 14-day stay limit. Market due to open in January.

Jo:
Colorado River is beautiful along this section of land between Parker and Lake Havasu. Unfortunately right now the wind is blowing a pretty good clip and it’s not much fun for a small human-powered craft.
Yes, it it a great place to rest during the Christmas season. The best to you.
