Primative campsite in Farragut State Park near Atol, Idaho. By Julianne CraneAfter a lo-o-o-o-ng day of last minute packing and cleaning the apartment, loading the camper, fueling up at Flying J, and stopping by Cabelos for a ‘private privy,’ we finally hit the road sometime after 5 p.m.

We were determined to start our RV journey today and only made it 55 miles out of town to Farragut State Park, 4 miles off Hwy. 95 near Athol, Idaho.

All we wanted was a place to sleep and a good hot shower–we got one out of two. The shower house had closed the previous weekend. Dry camping was $10.
