Woke up to snow in southeast Oregon

PipeSpringsBLM(JulianneCrane)Is it spring yet?

Went to bed in a light rain, woke up early this morning to a dusting of snow … and it’s been drifting down steadily all morning.

We are snug at a BLM campground called Page Springs near the hamlet of Frenchglen on the west side of the Steens Mountains in southeast Oregon. A super birding and wildlife area.

Thank goodness for the Honda 2000 generator. It is quiet and is running our small electric heater and powering my computer. The Verizon WIFI card allows us to be connected … amazing technology.
