It doesn’t take much to start a conversation at a dump station, especially when your neighbor is a fellow fiberglass truck camper owner.

Don_Mary_Burg_Bigfoot_JulianneGCraneA couple winters back when we were snowbirds camping at Catalina State Park near Tucson, Ariz., we met Mary and Don Burg of Olympia, Wash. They were traveling in their fairly new Bigfoot camper on their dually.

Although we have not crossed their paths since, it was fun meeting and exchanging insights about fiberglass truck campers.

To learn more about the Molded Lightweight Fiberglass RV community, click on the FiberglassRV.com website. It is a “free resource for those who are looking for, or who own, molded fiberglass travel trailers'” however, many of the topics (maintenance and repair, modifications, and almost anything else related to molded fiberglass travel trailers) can be valuable to fiberglass truck campers.
