Are you an amateur photographer who has an amazing image of your experience on the magnificent public lands of America?

Here is your chance to share it with America… and maybe just win a little money in the process. Review your collections of photographs and submit your autumn color images with the “Share the Experience” photo contest sponsored by  the National Park Foundation for a chance to win cash and prizes.

The folks at NPF “are looking for the official photo that will be featured on the ‘America the Beautiful Federal Recreation Lands Pass’ for 2016. Plus, it’s a fantastic way to ‘Share the Experience’ and let others see and appreciate all the incredible federal lands and adventures across the nation.”

Guidelines include:
Photos must be taken on the lands or within the facilities of these participating agencies:
– National Park Service
– U.S. Bureau of Land Management
– U.S. Bureau of Reclamation
– U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service
– U.S. Forest Service

Also be sure to click on the “Official Contest Rules” link and read all the ‘rules and regulations’ of participating. One of those rules is:
“All photographs must be taken on lands managed by one (1) of the five (5) Federal Recreation Agencies (listed above) between January 1, 2012 and December 31, 2014. Photographs taken in state parks do not qualify.”

The contest runs through December 31, 2014. Good luck.
