Eco-friendly green RVing

What freelance writer Leslie Garrett wrote in a 2008 Toronto Star article about the “greening” of RVers is still relevant today.

“RVs have gotten a bad rap as gas-guzzling hunks of metal,” says Erin Lehn Floresca, formerly the RV editor at BellaOnline.com and permanent resident in a recreation vehicle, “but many full-time RVers actually use less fuel per week than regular commuters.”

“Most RVers are green because they are into simple living and being resourceful,” explains Floresca. “They use fewer resources than a regular household does.”
