Last chance to take advantange of final ‘fee free’ days this year at National Parks

The National Park Service winds down this year’s “fee free days*” on Veterans Day weekend (Nov. 10-12), 2012.

According to the National Park Service, many of the 398 national parks never charge an entrance fee.

The fee-free days apply at more than 100 national parks that usually charge entrance fees

* “Fee waiver includes: entrance fees, commercial tour fees, and transportation entrance fees. Other fees such as reservation, camping, tours, concession and fees collected by third parties are not included unless stated otherwise.”
