GoRVing was out spreading the word about the joys of RVing at the recent AARP Life@50 convention in Washington, D.C.
Karen Redfern, director of marketing communications of GoRVing and Recreational Vehicle Industry Association, was on hand to answer questions about RVing and the two small-sized motorhomes on view.
The Itasca Navion by Winnebago “is built on a diesel Sprinter chassis,” says Redfern, “so it gets about 18-20 mpg.” The other motorhome is a Roadtrek Versatile type B van. The model at the show as built on Chevy gas chassis and gets 14-16 mpg. The diesel model, built on a diesel Sprinter chassis get 18-20 mpg.
“People seem really interested in the smaller motorhomes,” says Redfern.
