Leaving Buckskin Mountain for Lake Alamo

Share

Today is one of those transition and errand-running days.

We’re packing up and leaving Buckskin Mountain State Park after ten days. We loved it here; but it’s time to explore the next point on the map–Lake Alamo State Park a couple hours east of here.

But first it’s several loads of laundry, restocking groceries, filling up water jugs, hitting the gas station, checking for mail at the post office.

If we don’t finish our errands by 2 p.m., we may park overnight at the BlueWater Resort and Casino, along with several dozen other motorhomes, trailers and van conversions.

The Casino has a decent buffet and a four-screen cinema … so, it’s a good place to eat dinner and take in a movie before heading remote.
