A recent Camping Life(Woodalls) article reviewed the 2008 Tango light-weight trailers by Pacific Coachworks out of Riverside, Calif.
The trailers “are turning heads for a number of good reasons. Floorplans that make good sense, top-flight appointments, and a high overall degree of functionality and utility have made Tango towables the talk of the town.”
“According to Pacific, the Tango 286RBSS trailer can be towed with a half-ton pickup or SUV. We suggest a weight-distributing device be used for this trailer if you do tow it with a half-ton vehicle, to spread some of that tongue weight out over the tow rig’s and trailer’s axles.”

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackWhat’s the big deal! We bought a 2007 Four Winds 28 footer (31 1/2 bumper to hitch) with a slide out that weighs less than 6000 lbs dry. On top of that we only paid $14000 and love it. No problems, easy to pull and very comfortable. I have a 1996 GMC 1500 that I use to pull it. I’ll save the difference in money, get a slide, and have a big smile on my face when I think of this BS over priced trailer they’re trying to sell you.
