Update on Silver Sistas, those Airstream restoration DYI divas from Manassas, Virginia

Share

SilverSistas_sideAirstreamThe Silver Sistas, actual sisters Kaitlin Draper, 26, and Erin Kilday, 33, of Northern Virginia are still actively restoring their vintage 1969 27-foot Airstream Overlander travel trailer.

They began their project in April 2012 and will be spreading some holiday cheer tomorrow (Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013) at 10 a.m. in Old Town Manassas,  by participating in the 68th Annual Greater Manassas Christmas Parade. They are taking their Airstream travel trailer all decked out in Holiday style.

With the theme of “Miracle on Center Street” this is the largest holiday parade in Northern Virginia. Attracting 60,000 spectators, the parade consists of over 100 marching units, high-flying balloons and approximately 2,000 participants including the Silver Sisters.

SilverSistas_Tee-shirtsA lucky 100 parade goers will receive limited-edition Silver Sistas tee-shirts. If you love the tee-shirt, but can’t make the parade, click here to contact the Silver Sistas for more information about ordering your own tee-shirt.
