A day of art, food, history in Grand Junction

What do you do when you find you need to fill up a day while your truck is being worked on? If you are lucky enough to be in Grand Junction, Colorado, you head toward Downtown Main Street and become, what else–tourists.

Lucky for us there is much to do and see, along with lots of places to get a cool drink or bite to eat–all within a five to six block radius of this tourist-friendly Downtown.

I’ve posted two entries on RV Short Stops.com about our day in Downtown Grand Junction. The first is on the city’s amazing public art project that features more than 100 sculptures in a variety of mediums and styles. Click on ‘Art on the Corner’

The second entry focuses on a fun retro cafe and one of the local museums. Read more by clicking on “Main Street Cafe and Museum of the West.
