A shift in our RV life; Jimmy Smith’s reflections on ‘saying goodbye’ to one phase of life and opening up to the unknown

For the past year we have been members of the SKP Park of the Sierras south of Yosemite National Park in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

It has been a great year being part of this unique RV community of full-time RVers and we have made wonderful friends.

Over the past several months, however, we have refined our plans for the next stretch of our lives and are being drawn off the road full-time and back to the Pacific Northwest by the tug of longtime friends and beauty of the country.

The move north will take place over the next couple of weeks and by the end of April we will one again be near the 49th parallel in eastern Washington where we will continue to RV travel and play in our truck camper.
