Truck campers provide cozy traveling space

Share

Recently a friend purchased a truck and camper with plans of heading to the southwest for the winter. It reminded me of an article I wrote on Vi and George Chambers of Spokane, Wash.

They love to follow the ‘Blue Line Highways’ of America — those two-lane scenic, winding roads that lead from here to nowhere.

“Basically with our camper,” says Chambers, “we can go anywhere our truck can go. We’ve taken it out for four-month trips and haven’t had any problems finding a place to park.”

The Chambers are members of the North American Truck Camper Owners Association.
