The winter rain storm system that is slamming the West Coast is really pelting us tonight at Harris Beach State Park, just north of Brookings, Ore.
As I write this, it is really, really blowing and the truck and camper are rocking … love those jacks.
It was raining when the above photo was taken from the back of our camper and before the current blow … amazing storm … we are high off the beach.
Harris Beach State Park has a variety of sites, from ‘dry’ camping for tents to larger paved sites with hookups (no sewer) and cable TV for $20-30 /night. There are also clean bathrooms, free (individual) showers and laundry ($1/load).

The answer to the snake phobia … vacation along the Oregon Coast in the winter … no snake problem here.
