John Lennon Educational (Prevost) Tour Bus keeps rolling, making music

Giving students of all ages a chance to create music is the idea behind The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus. Lennon’s widow, musician and artist Yoko Ono, says this year’s tour marks Lennon’s 70th birthday.

According to a news release, the “bus travels across the U.S. and Canada year-round, providing free tours and workshops at schools, retailers, festivals, on tours with headlining artists, and at major industry conferences.”

Inside the Prevost motor coach is a record studio where young people can receive free hands-on opportunities to make music and video projects.

The Prevost XL Entertainer II was “constructed under the watchful eye of Todd Lay at Atlanta Custom Coach, while Tay Hoyle and her company, Taytrix Productions, are responsible for the interior design, racks and studio furniture, as well as the construction of all system wiring with connectors provided by Neutrik USA.”
