Campa USA has manufactured self-contained, expedition-grade tent camping trailers since 2004.

The Campa ATT (all-terrian trailer) and its smaller version, the Campa Cub, are highly mobile, robust trailers that are designed to prove themselves on the toughest off-road conditions like the infamous Rubicon Trail in the California’s High Sierra.

The recently introduced Campa Cub is an entry level off-road trailer that “reaches a broader audience in the sense that the unit is far more affordable,” said company vice president Anne Pence. “It is light weight and customers very much like the option to color-match to their vehicles.”

Both rugged trailers measure 11-feet long by 6-feet wide. The basic ATT model has a dry weight of 1,900 pounds and a cargo capacity of 2,200 pounds. The modular stainless steel construction gives the flexibility of customizing units based on individual choice.

The slate of options for the Campa ATT includes a built-in kitchen, trailer-top tent, sleeping for two to eight people, hot water shower system and Port-a-Potty, 10-pound propane tank, two 20-gallon water tanks, water purification system, solar panels, generator, and racks for bikes, kayaks and inflatables. A decked-out Campa ATT prices in at around $18,000.

The Campa Cub trailer has a dry weight of 1,200 pounds with a cargo carrying capacity of 2,000 pounds. With a raft of amenities, the Cub goes for around $9,500.

These off-road rigs provide everything one needs at the end of a long day exploring. People can “get to remote places, have the trailer set up in five minutes, and be sitting in their chairs in the shade enjoying a cold beer out of a fridge,” said company president Chris Cole.
