StJoe_Holidaylights_JulianneGCraneWhether it is camping on a lake in southern Georgia, or hiking the back country of Big Bend National Park, or cooking a full-blown turkey dinner in a small RV kitchen, people who use their recreation vehicles during the holiday season often create lasting memories. Over then next few weeks, fellow RVers will be sharing a holiday memory that holds a special place in their hearts.

As second-year Snowbirds back in 2010, Jimmy and I did not expect to experience a freezing Christmas Eve on the Gulf Coast of Florida.  We believed all those Chamber of Commerce promises of warmth and sunshine.  Wasn’t to happen the year we made our way there. But one thing about cold weather, it does seem to cut down on competition for premium camping spots.
