In 2001, potter Alleghany Meadows remodeled a 30-foot 1967 Airstream Sovereign Land Yacht into a traveling exhibition space featuring his work and the work of fellow artists on a North America Studio Potters Tour.
Based in Carbondale, Colo., the ArtStream has traveled from Los Angeles to New York, Houston to Minneapolis, putting contemporary ceramic art on the street.
The 2013 tour ends May 10 – 12, with “Art of the Pot 10th Anniversary Studio Tour” in Austin, TX. The ArtStream will be located at the Snack Bar, 1224 So. Congress Ave.
